Calne's Christmas Festival and Lantern Parade, planned for this Saturday, 27th November, has been postponed for one week due to Storm Arwen.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for high winds and gusts of more than 40mph for Saturday.
In order to ensure the safety of traders, acts and the general public, Calne Town Council has postponed the event for one week, the event will now be held on Saturday 4th December.
Calne Town Council say: 'It comes with our deepest regret that we have had to make the difficult decision to reschedule The Christmas Festival of Lights from Saturday 27th November until Saturday 4th December. This is due to advice from Wiltshire Council and The Met Office about weather warnings concerning high winds and possibility of snow.
